At the end of our vision and will to go on, we find His purpose. At the depth of our weakness, we encounter His strength. When relationships have failed and we are alone, we discover His friendship. When our hope is gone and our dreams are lifeless, we experience His resurrection. In stillness and trust we are renewed and revived. At the end of self effort, we finally find God. In His presence we soak in His glory. In His glory there is love, joy and peace . . . peace like a river of living water. Stay in the River!

I discovered this in Exodus recently, one of those passages that we read over quickly, not realizing the significance. What a blessing, they were allowed to see a glimpse of God:

I never realized until recently that Peter's wife was crucified. Eusebius recorded that she was martyred the same day as Peter. He was forced to watch as his wife was led to be placed upon the cross, and he only had time to call out her name, saying "remember the Lord". She was briefly mentioned in 1 Corinthians 9:5, indicating that she traveled with Peter.

On Sunday, the 22nd, our pastor called up the students from the recent School of Kingdom Ministry and said that we would all close our eyes, keep them closed and prophecy to anyone standing in front of us who tapped us on the shoulder. It was not easy, but we'd done it before in class for our classmates. God showed up in a powerful way and many people were blessed. As one of the students doing the prophesying, I was extremely blessed and amazed by some of the things God said to people; things I would never have thought of. I'm hoping this is the beginning of much prophecy in our church.

That sounds similar to the prophetic team at Morningstar in Charlotte.
