_THIS SHALL BE A SIGN
_It was God's perfect plan that Yeshua be born in a stable near Bethlehem.
Migdal Eder was the tower from which the shepherds of that region watched
over the flocks kept for sacrifice in the temple. There could have been no
other place more appropriate for the Messiah to be born, for He was, and
still is, God's Lamb without blemish. The angels' declaration to the shepherds
in Luke 2 that this would be a sign - He would be found lying in a manger,
or feeding trough - was not only an indication that His birth place would
be a stable, but it was also a revelatory sign of His divine purpose.
John 6:53-58
Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood,
you don't have Life in yourselves. He who eats My flesh and drinks
My blood has Eternal Life, and I will raise him up at the last
day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.
He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood lives in Me, and I in him.
As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father;
so he who feeds on Me, he will also live because of Me. This is
the bread which came down out of heaven - not as our fathers ate
the manna, and died. He who eats This Bread will live forever.
